Love at the End of Life: The Jewish Hospice Experience

This session will provide attendees with information about choices at the end of life, or during serious illness, and how the Jewish Care Services program at Midwest CareCenter addresses the specific needs of Jewish patients and families. We will explore how hospice is a "hug" during times of crisis, and share some methods of working through the stress a serious illness brings. Materials will be provided

Rhonda Wehner, RMT-BC is a registered music therapist and has been a Jewish music educator and cantorial soloist for over 25 years. She is the coordinator of Jewish care services at Midwest CareCenter, helping to provide culturally sensitive care to the Jewish patients and training both the staff and community about a variety of Jewish topics related to Judaism, and hospice.
