Norm enjoys teaching Jewish adults and studying Jewish texts. He served on the Indianapolis faculty of the Florence Melton Adult Mini-School for four years and for many years has been a volunteer teacher at two synagogues, several prisons and at an apartment complex for seniors. He also leads worship for Shabbat, High Holy Days, and weekday minyans. Part of Norm's preparation for teaching includes attendance at many Summer Kallot sponsored by the Union for Reform Judaism and participation in the Para-Rabbinic Fellows and Outreach Fellows programs offered by the Reform Movement.
